  QuickStep, the movie

Hi, everyone, thanks for checking out the latest from Possum Tango Productions. I'd love to tell you we were in production of QuickStep, our first independent film. But thanks to a freak windstorm, a whole lot of life and a whole lot of God, we've been taken back to the drawing board.

A lot of things don't go according to plan...and in our case, that's gonna be a really great thing.

We started two years ago as a bunch of kids with almost no money, a camera smaller than a toaster, and an idea so crazy we just had to do it. We had no idea what we were setting out to do.

Now, still with almost no money, but with a lot better idea of how hard this is, and the equipment we'll need to do it right, we're starting over again. A lot has happened since then. None of us are the same. But we still know this is what God's given us to do.

We're setting out to make a movie. It's going to take more than we have. It's going to demand more than we think we were capable of. And we'll have to keep believing that the same kind of miracles that have gotten us this far, will keep coming to get us through. We're going to make a movie. We hope you'll come along for the ride.

Summary of plot: An excruciatingly underfunded secret agent team faces ruthless mobsters, assassins and government bureaucrats to stop a mercenary group from getting military secrets out of the U.S. When the feds crack down and tighten regulations to a strangle, ties have to be loosened, and rules have to be broken.

Summary of us: An excruciatingly underfunded independent filmmaking team constantly finds themselves doing the impossible, rocking out with friends and former total strangers, and striving to walk out this journey God's way. Yeah, it's harder...but the blasting, jaw dropping power of God coming through for us more than makes up for it.
